Review: 2012-02-25, pretty fight with a good third round between Jake Shields and Yoshihiro Akiyama but it is not enough to get three stars. Jake Shields (26-6-1) entered as the No.5 welterweight in the world while Yoshihiro Akiyama (13-4-0) entered as the No.67. Shields vs Akiyama is on the undercard of Edgar vs Henderson (UFC 144). Watch the video!

this match was a fluke!! akiyama should have won
Aikiyama is the biggest piece of sh*t ever. Cheats in his earlier fights, and hasnt won a single fight in years. And yet he still hasnt been cut from the UFC?

@Superman You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. “Akiyama” does not cheat. He’s a well-rounded fighter who has also done judo so it may seem like he unleashes techniques you’re not familiar with during typical UFC matches. Just because you don’t recognize some moves, you think he’s cheating. That’s pretty ignorant. If I were you, I’d do more research before blasting your mouth on here making yourself look stupid.
